This policy explains how KaufAI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website, mobile apps (iOS & Android), and eBay OAuth‑connected services. We comply with Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and eBay developer guidelines.

1. Data Collection

We collect information to provide and improve our marketplace management services:

• Account data: name, email address, and authentication identifiers (via Sign in with Apple, Google, or marketplace OAuth).
• Product photos: images you capture or select in the app for AI product identification and marketplace listings. Photos are sent to our servers for processing and are not used for advertising.
• Marketplace connection data: OAuth tokens, store identifiers, product listings, orders, and inventory (only from platforms you connect).
• Usage & analytics: interaction with our app, features used, and performance metrics (first‑party only).
• Device information: IP address, device type, OS version, and app identifiers for security and fraud prevention.

2. How We Use Data

• Operate, maintain, and optimize multi‑channel e‑commerce tools.
• Sync listings, orders, and inventory across connected platforms.
• Improve AI recommendations and marketplace analytics.
• Send service notifications, updates, and (with your consent) marketing communications.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and ensure security.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We never sell your personal data. Limited sharing occurs only:

• Connected marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Etsy, Shopify) — to sync listings, orders, and inventory you authorize.
• Service providers under contract and confidentiality obligations:
  • OpenAI — product photo analysis and listing text generation (images and prompts you submit).
  • Stripe — payment processing if you subscribe to paid features.
  • Hosting & infrastructure — secure storage and API delivery.
• If required by law or to protect our legal rights.

4. Security

We implement industry‑standard safeguards:

• All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES‑256).
• Access controls, monitoring, and regular security audits.
• OAuth tokens stored with additional encryption and short‑lived where possible.

5. Your Rights & Choices

• Access & correction: Review or update your account data in the app or by contacting us.
• Data deletion: Delete your account at any time in the mobile app: Settings → Delete account. This removes marketplace tokens from your device and deletes your server account and associated data within 30 days (except where legally required). You may also email support@kaufai.com.
• Data portability: Export your data in a machine‑readable format upon request.
• Opt‑out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any message.
• Revoke marketplace access: Disconnect any marketplace in Settings → Connections or revoke the app in the marketplace’s own security settings.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use analytics cookies (first‑party) to improve our service. You can control cookie preferences in your browser settings. No third‑party advertising cookies are used.

7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

KaufAI is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at support@kaufai.com and we will delete it promptly.
